MovieGuess.online is a free, browser-based movie trivia game that challenges players to identify Bollywood and Hollywood films using emoji clues, iconic dialogues, and fill-in-the-blank letter puzzles. No download, no signup — just instant fun from any phone, tablet, or computer.
MovieGuess was born out of a simple observation: movie buffs love showing off what they know, but most trivia games are either too easy, too cluttered, or require downloading an app. We wanted to build something different — a sleek, fast, and genuinely challenging game that respects your time and rewards your movie knowledge.
We started with a modest library of Bollywood classics and modern blockbusters. Within weeks, players were sharing the game across WhatsApp groups, Instagram stories, and family chat threads. The response told us we had built something people genuinely love. So we kept going.
Today, MovieGuess features thousands of curated movie puzzles spanning Classic Era Bollywood (pre-1990), Modern Era Bollywood (1990–2026), Hollywood golden age films, and contemporary global cinema. We add new puzzles every week to keep the game fresh and challenging.
We believe cinema is one of humanity's greatest shared languages. A great Bollywood song can transport an NRI in London back to their childhood home in Mumbai. A classic Hollywood dialogue can bridge generations at a family dinner in Toronto. MovieGuess is our small contribution to keeping those shared experiences alive and joyful.
Our mission is to build the world's most fun, accessible, and challenging movie trivia platform — one that works equally well at a Diwali party in New Jersey, a college hostel room in Pune, or a family WhatsApp group spread across three continents.
